In some cases, liposuction is combined with brachioplasty to contour the arms. This is the case where someone does not like the excess of fat that they have on their arms. If we do an aggressive liposuction to really slim down their arms, there is a chance that the skin will not contract well enough and the patient will be left with crepey loose skin. In these cases, the best option is to remove the excess skin caused by the liposuction at the same time (a brachioplasty).
