Case Details
This patient had a breast augmentation somewhere else a few years ago. Her implants were in the sub muscular position and were riding high on her chest. This resulted in the nipples appearing to be too low. In fact, this is an optical illusion cause by the implant position. The nipple is supposed to sit on the middle of the breast mound. Dr. Collins removed the implants from the sub muscular position and replaced them with new implants in the sub glandular/ subfascial position. Repositioning the implant so that the natural rounding of the lower pole of the breast was accomplished in this revision surgery. This resulted in a more natural, rounded, more attractive breast with the nipple positioned int he correct location.
