Liposuction of the neck has limited applications in the rejuvenation of the face. The procedure can address fat that is located in the subcutaneous plane in the neck and under the chin. The patient must also have great skin quality so that after the procedure, the skin will redrape and contract to the new contour. This patient was a perfect candidate since she fit all those criteria. This in office procedure took about one hour and the recovery was as simple as wearing a compression garment for one week. The results however are long lasting and significant.
