Case Details
Gynecomastia is exceedingly common, affecting up to 30% of men. It is usually a combination of excess fat and breast tissue. The treatment involves a combination of liposuction of the chest wall followed by direct excision of breast tissue. As long as there is not a large abundance of excess skin, these procedures can be performed through tiny incisions that eventually become invisible. Dr. Collins aims to get all of these men, young and old, out on the beach without a shirt on!! This young man is in his early post op period and his tiny incisions can be seen to each side of his nipples, but these will fade to white in time and will be effectively invisible.
